Tower Garden is a vertical, soil-free system that empowers people to grow their own fresh, nutrient-dense produce while using only 10% of the water and space typically required by traditional gardening.
I wrote website, ad, and email copy, more than 100 blog articles, and social media posts. Basically the whole shebang.
Many of my blog posts rank highly in search for relevant, competitive terms, such as "indoor tomatoes" and "ants in garden." (Go ahead and check Google. I'll wait.) Consequently, my content drove 70% of the traffic from organic search and generated about 7,800 inbound links by 2018.
I also helped launch the brand and website for Tower Farms, the commercial division of Tower Garden. I developed the site's content architecture, created the SEO strategy, and wrote all the copy.
Music for Makers is a simpler, more affordable music licensing solution for people who create podcasts, videos, and other cool stuff.
I started the business in 2015, and it's been a one-man show ever since. As a result, I've written all sorts of things — including website and email copy, blog posts, sales pages, and product descriptions.
In less than two years, I grew the email list to more than 15,000 subscribers and average monthly website traffic to more than 20,000 visitors — purely through organic means. And my music has now been used by lots of awesome folks, from indie filmmakers to major brands, such as Hilton, Groupon, and FedEx.
Keynote for Video is an online course that teaches how to make animated videos using Keynote — Apple's native presentation software.
As the course creator, I developed the curriculum, wrote video scripts, and crafted copy for the sales page and other marketing materials.
